Here in New Jersey, we have a positivity test rate of less than five percent. He says as soon as we can, we’re going to take these masks off, well, what’s that metric? We need to stop using this rhetoric and we need to actually give action so people know what we’re working towards. Dr Fauci said last summer that when we reach less than five percent positivity, schools should be able to open for free and clearly as long as they have surveillance tests in place and contact tracing available. Well guess what – here we have less than five percent positivity in New Jersey, we have one of the highest vaccination rates in the country, we have some of the lowest case transmission rates in the world. country and yet we say that all K -12 children universally must be masked.
