Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva next

Paul will face the biggest test of his career when he takes on MMA legend Anderson Silva. The longtime UFC middleweight champion is a significant improvement in striking over any fighter Paul has faced thus far. He has 23 career wins by knockout, including against Vitor Belfort and Forrest Griffin. The big question is his age, as the 47-year-old has appeared to be a shell of himself in recent years.

Uriah Hall defeated Le’Veon Bell

Former UFC title contender Uriah Hall defeated former NFL star Le’Veon Bell by unanimous decision (40-36×3). Hall continually brought Bell down for combinations, but was largely patient throughout. He chose not to make it a firefight and instead picked his spots. Bell landed a few good shots but largely didn’t hurt Hall.

“He really surprised me…I got cracked a couple of times and thought ‘Holy shit’.”

The win was Hall’s first as a boxer. After the fight, he called Jake Paul.

Chris Avila dominates Dr. Mike

Chris Avila, a teammate or Nick and Nate Diaz, showed why experience matters in his fight against Dr. Mike Varshavski. Avila won by unanimous decision (40-36×3) over his opponent who was making his boxing debut. Avila from the opening bell landed heavy combination punches and overhand rights and, almost shockingly, didn’t put Varshavski out. Varshavski was bloodied at the end but showed great heart for someone who had never stepped foot in a ring before.

Avila, who also competes in MMA, improved to 2-1 as a professional boxer.
