National television for Bison Football switches to ABC this fall

FARGO, ND – North Dakota State University football games will have a new television home on WDAY’s ABC networks across the state of North Dakota starting this fall.

NDSU Athletics and its exclusive multimedia rights holder, Bison Sports Properties, entered into a new multi-year agreement with WDAY and Forum Communications Company in May 2021.

Bison football matches will be televised on WDAY (Fargo), WDAZ (Grand Forks), KBMY (Bismarck / Dickinson) and KMCY (Minot / Williston). sports director WDAY Dom Izzo will call play-by-play with former NDSU All-American and NFL veteran Kyle Emmanuel as color analyst and WDAY’s Logan campbell report on the sidelines.

ESPN + will continue to broadcast all home football games and NDSU road games as part of the Missouri Valley Football Conference broadcast deal. NDSU’s Nov. 13 game at Youngstown State will be exclusively on ESPN + as the Valley Football Game of the Week.

Television for non-conference road games is subject to the broadcasting agreements of the host institutions.

The Bison Football Show with the Head Coach Matt Entz and host Jeff Culhane will air Sunday evenings throughout the season at 10:35 p.m. on WDAY, WDAZ, KBMY and KMCY. Tune in weekly throughout the season to find highlights, analysis and reports from the Bison program.
